TLC Private Home Care opened its doors on 3/1/2020, 15 days prior to the closing of the country related to the pandemic.

We provide numerous amounts of different services. Personal care, Meal planning and prep, companionship, transportation to MD appts or to see their families, Hospice care, respite and Dementia / Alzheimer’s care, and more. We also can provide Private Nursing, weekly check-ins for med prefills, vital signs, safety, nutrition and hydration and physician communications.

We only hire certified, experienced, and vaccinated caregivers. They are all CORI checked within MA guidelines.

Our goal is to establish a long-term caregiving relationship with your loved one. Should your family want to ever request a different caregiver for any reason, we will search for a new caregiver until your family is happy. If you come across a caregiver that you want more often and it exceeds to normal 40 hours in a work week, we give you the option to pay their overtime. If your care requires longer hours, it may be necessary to have multiple caregivers. We strive for continuity, which is best for the patient.

When a patient comes on service, they come under our nursing model of care at no extra charge. This means our nurses can fill/order meds and our caregivers can provide reminders to the patients.

TLC Private Home Care asks that any changes in the schedule need to be made 24 hours in advance and to cancel services, with 7 days' notice.

TLC uses a software system that tracks the in/out times of caregivers and they must be at a certain distance from the patient’s home to do so. All notes are then checked by a nurse who can know if there was a change in condition at any time.

Although private home care is needed, it isn’t always covered by insurance. TLC works with many businesses that can help make recommendations on how to help pay for services. We do take Long Term Care insurance and it is all processed in-house so the patient does not have to submit anything upon hiring TLC.

We adhere to all state and federal applicable guidelines related to the privacy of personal and health care information. This starts with a formal service agreement. All our caregivers are bound by HIPPA. Your information is never sold to a third party under any circumstances. In fact, only the office and direct care staff for a particular client have access to information related to the care of your loved one.

There should never be any monetary exchange between patient and caregiver. The agency will bill weekly directly to the patient or their family.

Give us a call! Together we can do an intake and find out exactly what is going on and the reason for reaching out. We will go over everything and then set up a nursing assessment. This assessment can take place in the facility or the home. Sometimes it is both. Usually, we can begin services within a day or so.
